Program Information
Ages Served
We welcome children ages 2.5+ years old. The program is designed to meet the developmental needs of various age groups.
Meals
We serve wholesome morning and afternoon snacks focusing on fruits, veggies, protein and whole grains. Often, the children prepare the snack by baking blueberry muffins or building fruit and yogurt parfaits!
The children bring a packed lunch each day. This allows the teacher to focus more on the children rather than meal prep.
Location
The Peach Tree Preschool is located in Richardson, TX 75080. Cross streets are Nantucket and Campbell.
We are so fortunate to be in a small, quiet cul de sac with trees and friendly neighbors. Our outdoor space is large with a garden to explore, plenty of room for running and playing, and spaces to be creative.
Hours
We are open from 8:00-5:30 Monday - Friday with full-day and part-day 9:00-2:30 options available. You can pick a 2 day, 3 day, or 5 day schedule as well.
Tuition
At The Peach Tree Preschool, our rates reflect our nurturing environment, certified teacher, and low 1:8 ratios in a licensed in-home setting (#1813138). We strive to offer quality care at an affordable price. Please contact us for tuition information for your child.

Activities
The children will have all kinds of materials to use during our large blocks of guided and free play. We have a block center, art center, science center and a dramatic play center along with other rotating centers. Language, literacy, fine motor and cognitive skill building are woven into our play. We have daily circle times that include story time and music time. Playing outdoors is a big part of the program so we will be outside at least 2 hours a day, weather permitting.
Pets
We have 2 cats, Cloe and Heidi. Both have recent health checks on file and are up to date on their vaccinations. They are friendly and safe.
We also have a beta fish for a class pet named Sushi!
Director Christy Vickery
Let me share a little about myself. I have been teaching for over 20 years in the Dallas and Richardson areas. Working with children is my joy and passion. I received my Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and have a Texas teaching certificate in music education. Becoming a certified director with the State of Texas and becoming licensed by the state (#1813138) are two of my proudest accomplishments. As a licensed provider and a member of The National Association of Family Child Care Providers, I have completed over 100 hours of training in play-based learning, child development and early childhood care. I have 2 children, a wonderful husband and two sweet kitties. I enjoy spending time with my family and getting a dose of retail therapy every now and then!
